The Chablis 1er Cru Fourchaume, is made using fruit from 10 hectares of east facing vines, planted mainly between 1952 and 1989. Vinified entirely in stainless steel. This is a very classic Chablis, very clean and lean with light apple and peach fruit and acidity that builds to an intense finish. Beautifully balanced, this wine can be enjoyed on release or cellared for up to 5 years.
What is En Primeur?
En Primeur or “Wine Futures” is a method of buying wine while it is still in barrel, before it is bottled. Buying wine early offers the chance to buy at a reduced price and secure wine that is very limited in availability. The wine is bottled and released a year or two after the vintage, and we would recommend aging the wines further before drinking them. As such, this is recommended for customers who are looking to create or add to a wine collection at home and have the right conditions for storing wines at home.

Producer Info
Gilles and Nathalie Fèvre met at university where they both qualified as oenologists. Gilles is in charge of viticulture and Nathalie oversees vinification.
Gilles’ great grandfather began growing grapes and making wine in and around the village of Fontenay-Près-Chablis over a hundred years ago. They have now been joined by their daughter Julie – a qualified agricultural engineer and oenologue.
This is a wonderful 50-hectare domaine, all planted on Kimmeridgian limestone – 33 hectares of which are village Chablis.
They are absolutely delicious, mouth-watering, benchmark examples of pure, incisive, concentrated wines.

Our policy lasts thirty days. If it's been more 30 days since you made your purchase, we unfortunately can't give you a full refund or exchange.
You are able to return an item if it is unused and is in the same condition when you received it. You must have the item in its original packaging.
