An poweful expression of Chablis with huge concentration and greater weight on the palate. There’s a lot of complexity with floral aromas with a hint of honeysuckle, green apple, toast, and mandarin oranges but it remains balanced on a focused palate with a dreamy texture and rich minerality. A wine that is best enjoyed in 3-4 years or keep up to 10 years.
What is En Primeur?
En Primeur or “Wine Futures” is a method of buying wine while it is still in barrel, before it is bottled. Buying wine early offers the chance to buy at a reduced price and secure wine that is very limited in availability. The wine is bottled and released a year or two after the vintage, and we would recommend aging the wines further before drinking them. As such, this is recommended for customers who are looking to create or add to a wine collection at home and have the right conditions for storing wines at home.

Producer Info
Although their first commercial vintage was only in 2002, this is now one of the finest and most sought after domaines in Chablis.
They have 6 hectares of Chablis Grand Cru and 5 hectares of Chablis 1er Cru Vaillon. These are wonderfully sited vineyards which for generations have been the personal property of the Moreau family. The family now have no connection or contract with the large and respected négociant of the same name.
Christian, a larger-than-life personality, and his highly qualified oenologue son Fabien are making spectacular hand-crafted Chablis. All their grapes are handpicked from vines which average 40-70 years old.
Chablis Grand Cru Valmur, 1 hectare in two blocks on both sides of Valmur. 55-year-old vines. 50% barrel fermented (4% new oak). Power and structure.
